Brand and digital product creation for new venture and Asset Management platform
We were approached by the InstiHub founder to help mould a FinTech market concept and build a viable, revenue-generating platform. As part of this journey, we helped map a blueprint to the concept itself, planning out and validating how the product would work, look and feel as well as establishing a brand and tone for the business. Working closely with the founding team, we designed, tested and developed a launch-ready digital insight product that was targeted at the Asset Management industry.
We were responsible for creation and build of an innovative finance product, based on an entirely new technology infrastructure for this client. In reporting data derived from the values of actual mandates, we helped calculate performance comparators and forecasting functionality based on actual market values, as opposed to speculation based on aggregated performance data.
We worked with the client to make sure that all questions had been answered from the beginning of this project. Who was this for, why would they use it, how would it be marketed, what were the future growth plans for it based on success, what kinds of visualisations and user flows did it need to tackle, and what is the value-add for the user? Rigorous questioning in our experience is imperative to the success of a project. Our questioning and validation phase of work helped ensure that both our team and the client understood the reasoning behind each of the decisions made so that the end result was measured and tangible.
At Studiomade we have built a robust and wide-reaching knowledge of data structure, visualisation and management – working with expansive datasets and architectures across finance, healthcare and technology sectors. Having sector-specific experience within the fund landscape helped our team quickly understand and interpret the needs of this project ensuring that the way we managed the data delivered the best result for the design and functionality of the tool from both a visualisation and user perspective.
Within this project, we had to design a system infrastructure that was going to manage and deliver the data securely. Developing and implementing our own API logic, we helped devise the product schema and worked with instiHub’s technical leads to query their vast data library through efficient and scalable calls.
The result was an entirely new technology infrastructure for instiHub that positioned them with a digital platform that they could continue to build and innovate within moving forwards.
The instiHub brand that we established needed to be easily identifiable from a marketing perspective, but also be flexible enough in the way that it could be utilised for data visualisation and user interface design. We worked to build a clear specification list to the brand needs that enabled our team to craft an approach that catered for bespoke charting, intricate data display, responsive digital environments, print advertising and online brand promotion.
Data consistency was a vital part of this project success. Working through an iterative development and testing cycle we were able to stress test various scenarios of use, ensuring the shrouded data presentation and cross-brand comparisons were working correctly and that the product was both stable and secure. We had to ensure that all elements worked across different browsers, devices, and would continue to do so through the growth of the product. We broke the testing into sprint phases to ensure data validation, interrogating and manipulating both the data filter system as well as the range of data presentations. This work led through to a launch phase where we supported the client with brand awareness including marketing collateral and brand profile raising.
We helped InstiHub progress an idea from concept creation through to full brand build and digital product launch, creating a revenue-generating platform within the Asset Management space. InstiHub has continued to expand whilst we maintain a strong client relationship supporting the brand as it continues to grow.
